How to get the perfect cat eye

Hi all, this is my step by step rountine for getting the best winged eyeliner.

STEP 1: Find the right formula for you- There are many different forms eyeliner comes in (Stick, gel, felt tip, brush tip, stamp) but some are a lot easier than others. For a wing, I recommend using a brush or felt tip liner for a simple, but precise line. When you have that down, Trying gel liner is a great idea. My personal favorite liner is a brush tip from Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in the color Trooper.
STEP 2: When getting started, I think that filling in the lash line first will make the wing easier. Start on the inside corner of the lash line and draw your line as thin or thick as you would like all the way to the outside edge of the eye. (I recommend making the line thin at first, you can always make it thicker later if you would like)

STEP 3: Draw your wing. It is best to think of a triangle shape when filling it out. First, draw the bottom line-this should connect from the end of your lash line. draw a straight line out (It can be as long as you prefer) in the upward direction your lower lash line would go. This will help the symmetry of your liner and make the wings look as neat as possible.

STEP 4: Connect the end of your wing to your original line. They should meet at the point that is vertical to your brow bone.

STEP 5: Fill it in! This is the easiest step to me, just color in the lines!

STEP 6: The next step is to PRACTICE! You will most likely not get the perfect flick on your first try, it comes with doing it repetitively. It took me many tries to figure out what best fit me, and this is how it turned out.. hope you enjoyed and learned something from this!

See ya later,
Jasmine
